They announced new initiatives at the annual South by Southwest interactive conference in Austin. While we are still waiting to hear if these initiatives are implemented its a step in the right direction. GM and Chevy understand social communications and engagement. The growth was lead by a 133 percent increase in sales for Equinox, a compact crossover redesigned for the 2010 model year.
