Not only has GM and Chevy started connecting and engaging socially they have also tied that new commitment into their vehicles. They announced new initiatives at the annual South by Southwest interactive conference in Austin. While we are still waiting to hear if these initiatives are implemented its a step in the right direction. GM and Chevy understand social communications and engagement. March is officially called Chevy Truck Month because 2010 Chevy Silverados and 2010 Chevy Avalanches are being offered at 0% for 60 months. The growth was lead by a 133 percent increase in sales for Equinox, a compact crossover redesigned for the 2010 model year.
