South by Southwest Chevrolet Test Drive Contest<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We\u00a0 are assuming nearly everyone answered no. Hare Chevrolet<\/a><\/span> is aiming to change that by bringing you the\u00a0 “Shoot a Rabbit” South by Southwest (SXSW<\/a>) Test\u00a0 Drive Contest. Before you read on please put your guns away. This\u00a0 contest will be decided by shooting of a different kind; you must\u00a0 capture rabbits with your camera.<\/p>\n Not only do you need to capture\u00a0 rabbits with your camera (or camera phone) you must capture Hare\u00a0 Chevrolet rabbits. Every time you post a picture or quick video of the\u00a0 Hare name or logo (license plate, car decal, dealership sign, shirt,\u00a0 cup) to the Facebook Fan Page, http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/harechevrolet<\/a>,\u00a0 you gain one entry into the contest.<\/p>\n Lets say Twitter<\/a><\/span> is your network of choice and you happen\u00a0 to spot the Hare Chevrolet name or logo while driving around. Send a pic\u00a0 to @harechevy<\/a>, add the hashtag #haresxsw and\u00a0 you get another entry. What if I use Facebook & Twitter you ask.\u00a0 Multiple entries are allowed for the same pic on both networks.<\/p>\n By\u00a0 this point you are probably asking a couple questions. This sounds\u00a0 like a fun contest but what do we win? <\/em>More on that later. Alot of this technology, such as\u00a0 camera phones & social networks, was introduced at or was shaped by\u00a0 people who attend the annual South by Southwest Interactive Festival.\u00a0 We want our customers, fans or online contacts to use their technology\u00a0 in entering this contest.<\/p>\n South by Southwest is the once a year\u00a0 destination event of the social media generation. Chevrolet wanted to\u00a0 take the idea of the classic American road trip and re-imagine it for\u00a0 the current generation, hence the Chevy SXSW Road Trip Challenge<\/a> was born. Teams from\u00a0 across the nation will be given various challenges along their journey,\u00a0 in Chevy cars, to Austin for SXSW. Hare Chevrolet has been chosen as a\u00a0 stop for Team Lansing who is being captained by Betsy Weber<\/a>. Once the team reaches their destination they will\u00a0 draw a name of one of the “Shoot a Rabbit” entrants out of a top hat\u00a0 (gotta keep the bunny theme going) The winner will be drawn late morning on March 9th<\/strong> during a live webcast.
