Since roadside emergencies sometimes, and are often unavoidable, we\u2019ve put together some tips to make sure you and your family are prepared in case your next road trip includes car trouble.<\/p>\n

Always keep a charged cell phone in your car.\u00a0 I don\u2019t advocate using your cell phone while actually driving, but having one available to use in case of an emergency allows you to call 911.\u00a0 Pre-paid cell phone plans can be a great alternative for those that don’t have a need for a traditional cell phone plan.<\/p>\n

You should either buy a pre-made roadside emergency kit, or create your own–it’s fairly easy to do.\u00a0 You should have a blanket, a basic medical kit, an extra set of warm clothes when it\u2019s cold, a flashlight, and flares in your vehicle.<\/p>\n

Make sure your new or used Indianapolis Chevy<\/a> has a spare tire in case of a flat.\u00a0 Also, make sure you\u2019ve got all of the tools you\u2019ll need in order to change the tire.\u00a0 Sometimes a can of temporary tire foam will be enough of a fix to allow you to drive to repair shop.<\/p>\n
