Auto Service Contracts = Good Idea?

You have likely seen the TV commercials or received a post card offering service warranties / contracts for your used car or truck that will pay for repairs. Is this a good idea? Such service contracts have been around for years and can be a GREAT idea, but the three companies that have been making the most noise are Mogi (getmogi.com), USFidelis (USFidelis.com) and StopRepairBills.com. These companies are in the business to make money, they are not going to fix your car for free. In fact, all 3 companies have received a grade of "F" by the Better Business Bureau due to customer complaints.

Some companies say you can take your vehicle to any shop and get it fixed and you don't have to pay anything, but that is not necessarily true. There is usually a deductible and a waiting period before you can make a claim. You also have to maintain your vehicle and document the process meticulously. There are loopholes that these companies know, the weak parts of every vehicle they refuse to cover and they will write a policy excluding the bits and pieces that are most likely to fail. Most customers who have bought service contracts have paid $2,000 to $4,000 and often paid $500 down with the rest financed through the company with interest.

Our customers have repeatedly called or stopped in and asked us about these offers and claims. In response to the high demand and to prevent our customers from being taken advantage of by these other companies, we are offering our first ever SALE on Mechanical Repair Agreements. The companies we work with have been in business for quite some time and actually have been ranked an ?A" by the Better Business Bureau.

Manufacturer?s warranties are great, but typically don?t cover vehicles that are in the repair phase of their life. AAA says that most vehicles are in need of repairs from 40,000 to 100,000 miles. Doesn?t it make sense to cover your vehicle during the time when it may actually breakdown? This entitles you to $300 off any applicable Mechanical Repair Agreement. In addition to this outstanding offer, we are offering 0% financing on all Mechanical Repair Agreements. No vehicle sale required! No credit application is required! All plans include full roadside assistance, fuel delivery, lockout, tire change, towing and rental, and you can choose a 0 deductible or a $100 deductible plan.

One day in the shop could easily add up to the cost of our best plan. Plus, with the rising costs of parts and labor, you are locking yourself into today?s rates. You will no longer worry about what repairs will cost tomorrow! These are the days when you have to be smart with your money and eliminate the possibility of a huge out of pocket expense for a repair bill. This way you GET COVERED and STAY COVERED until you are ready for your next vehicle. If you trade or sell your vehicle earlier then you thought you would, these agreements are easily transferable or can be cancelled for a pro-rated refund so that no money of yours is "wasted".

To purchase a Mechanical Repair Agreement contact me by phone, email or stop by in person to receive the $300 discount.
